Maniva Ski Overview

Maniva Ski Resort, located in Località Maniva, offers a well-organized outdoor skiing sports experience with a keen focus on safety and security. As an attractive destination for tourists and families, the resort provides a teaching point for children to learn the basics of skiing. Visitors are advised to book ski tools in advance and wear safety gadgets. The resort offers ample parking, although some organization is needed in this area. The approach to the location could be challenging due to the inclined roads, but with anti-slippery tires and tire chains, it's a breeze.

The resort features a hotel for visitors to stay, with prior booking recommended. A restaurant with a stunning panoramic view enhances the overall experience. The establishment is also developing a mountain pedestrian path, adding to its beauty. A highlight of Maniva Ski is its diverse range of slopes, which are especially notable when compared to nearby ski areas. The slopes also offer excellent off-piste opportunities, catering to all levels of off-piste skiers.

Two on-site restaurants cater to different dining preferences, with the larger one serving a variety of meals and the smaller one offering snacks and sandwiches. The smaller eatery is located at the top of the mountain, offering sunny conditions, a fantastic view, and a great spot to relax with a cold beer until late afternoon.

Maniva Ski Resort is a haven for both skilled and novice winter sports enthusiasts. The resort is also a wonderful place for summer walks, with easy-to-follow routes through beautiful natural surroundings. The ski hire services and food options are commendable. However, visitors are advised to plan their visit as the sun usually sets around 3 pm. The resort is also a great place for sky diving and photography.

The resort is perfect for beginners and families. The ski hire staff and instructors are exceptional, making it an excellent place for first-time skiers. The après ski atmosphere might not be as vibrant as other resorts, but the potential for growth is evident. The resort can get crowded, but the organization is good. Ski lessons with the in-house instructors, Luca and Stephano, come highly recommended.

Visitors should note that the resort's options could be limited for beginners unless they're willing to tackle blue or red runs. Also, towards the end of the season, some runs could be closed due to low visitor numbers. The Igloo bar could also be unavailable at times. Despite these minor drawbacks, the resort remains a top choice for many, thanks to its beautiful views, exceptional service, and exhilarating skiing experience.
